Terms and Conditions

The landlord of the holiday apartments and rooms on this website is

Günther Jekle
Marktplatz 4
86476 Neuburg an der Kammel

The following general terms and conditions apply to the use of the holiday accommodation and rooms referred to above:

1. Scope

These general terms and conditions apply to the rental of the holiday accommodation or a room for lodging, as well as all other services provided by the landlord for the guest.

2. Booking

The booking of the holiday accommodation or a room is concluded through the booking confirmation sent to the guest following the online booking. The booking therefore becomes legally binding upon receipt of the booking confirmation. By booking, the guest also accepts these general terms and conditions and the house rules, which were made available to the guest in advance.

3. Stay

The guest must treat the holiday accommodation, including its inventory and the facilities belonging to the property, with care. The guest is responsible for cleaning the holiday accommodation or their room during the rental period. The guest must also ensure that the windows are closed, the lights are switched off and the radiators are turned down when leaving the apartment.

Use of the holiday accommodation or a room is reserved for the guests specified in the booking. If the holiday accommodation is used by more people than agreed, a separate fee of 50 euros per person must be paid for those additional people. Subletting the holiday accommodation or allowing third parties to use it is not permitted.

The house rules sent to the guest for their information apply during the stay. In the event of breaches of the general terms and conditions or the house rules, the landlord is entitled to terminate the rental agreement immediately and without notice. There is no legal entitlement to a pro rata refund or compensation.

4. Bed linen and towels

The accommodation price includes one made-up bed and one towel set (one large and one small towel) per guest.

Additional bed linen and towels stored in the accommodation are intended exclusively for operational use and must not be taken or used without the landlord's express consent.

The landlord is entitled to charge for bed linen and towels taken without authorisation or used additionally in accordance with the applicable price list or the actual costs incurred.

• Towels / bath mat: €5 per item
• Pillowcase / duvet cover: €10 per item
• Additional change of bed linen on request: €35 per bed
• Additional towel set on request: €15 per set

5. Payment

The guest is obliged to pay the landlord's applicable prices for the provision of the holiday accommodation or a room and any other services used by the guest.

The full rental price must be paid before check-in.

For short-notice bookings, the total price must be transferred within 2 days of the booking confirmation. If payment is overdue, the guest will receive a payment reminder. If payment is still not made, the booking will be cancelled automatically.

6. Withdrawal / cancellation

The guest has no right to withdraw free of charge. If the guest withdraws, they are obliged to pay part of the agreed price as compensation. The amount of compensation is determined by the following schedule:

Withdrawal must also be made in writing.

The landlord may cancel the booked service without giving reasons up to 14 days before arrival. Any payments already made will then be refunded to the guest in full. The contract may also be terminated at a later date in the event of force majeure or other unforeseeable circumstances that make the booked stay impossible. In this case, liability is limited to refunding the rental price.

In the event of a justified withdrawal, the guest has no entitlement to damages. Liability for travel and hotel costs is also excluded. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

7. Liability

Within the scope of the duty of care, the landlord is liable for the proper provision of the rental property. Liability for any outages or disruptions in the water or electricity supply, as well as events and consequences caused by force majeure, is excluded. The landlord also assumes no liability for the loss of belongings or theft in the building or on the property.

The guest is liable for damage caused by the guest deliberately or through gross negligence. Arrival and departure are also at the guest's own responsibility and liability. In addition, a fee of 1,000.00 euros is payable if the keys to the holiday accommodation are lost.

8. Written form

Amendments and additions to these general terms and conditions must be made in writing. This also applies to any amendment of this written-form clause. Furthermore, no oral agreements have been made.

9. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE

Should individual provisions of these general terms and conditions be invalid or unenforceable, or become invalid or unenforceable after they have been acknowledged, this does not affect the validity of the remaining general terms and conditions. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision whose effects come as close as possible to the economic objectives pursued by the parties with the invalid or unenforceable provision.
